Sickles has gone a perfect 8-0 against Leto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Gryphons will head out to face off against the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses dating back to last season for Sickles and eight for Leto dating back to last season.

Sickles is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Armwood on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Gryphons were beaten by the Hawks 49-0. Considering the last time the Gryphons couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Leto and Spoto have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Falcons had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 495th, while the Spartans are ranked 245th).

Leto didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Maurice Jackson and Jeremiah Wilson.

Leto's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sickles, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-7.

Sickles skirted past Leto 40-38 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gryphons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
