Soccer Recap: Valley Vista Takes a Loss

Valley Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the West Point Dragons. That's two games in a row now that the Monsoon have lost by exactly five goals.

Valley Vista's record now sits at 2-9. As for West Point, with the victory, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Vista will face off against Tolleson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Tolleson will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Valley Vista surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Point, they will square off against Browne at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Point is facing Browne at the right time seeing as Browne is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
