Volleyball Recap: College Park Comes Up Short

College Park suffered their biggest loss since April 18, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Northgate Broncos. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost five in a row.

While Northgate got the win, College Park sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 27-25.

Austin Chan was the offensive standout of the game as he had ten digs and three assists. Those three assists gave him a new career-high.

College Park's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Northgate, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

College Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Technology on the 22nd. As for Northgate, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rocklin on the 22nd.
