Basketball Recap: Canon-McMillan Comes Up Short

Canon-McMillan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Central Catholic Vikings, falling 74-53. While losing is never fun, the Big Macs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Vikings are ranked 68th).

Canon-McMillan's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Central Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Canon-McMillan will challenge Hempfield Area at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Norwin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
