Basketball Recap: Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova Comes Up Short

Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 79-55 to City University School of Liberal Arts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against City University School of Liberal Arts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-67 back in January.

Leading City University School of Liberal Arts to victory were Tyler Reliford and Denarius Perry. Reliford went 7 for 11 en route to 20 points and three steals, while Perry went 10 of 16 on his way to 20 points and five steals. City University School of Liberal Arts is undefeated when Perry posts three or more steals, but 7-14 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kevion Robertson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for City University School of Liberal Arts, their record is now 11-14.

As of now, neither Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova nor City University School of Liberal Arts have any future games scheduled.
