Strasburg hadn't done well against Liberty Common recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Strasburg won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-12.

Laci Zimmerman paced Strasburg's offense, picking up 16 kills. Zimmerman got some help from Camryn Forbis and her 26 assists. Brooke Nuttall controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Strasburg's win ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15. As for Liberty Common, they dropped their record down to 2-20 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Strasburg will square off against Kiowa at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Liberty Common does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
