Football Game Preview: Heritage Generals vs. Harlem Bulldogs + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Brayden Slaughter and Malik Tyler are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. After each having a week off, the Heritage Generals and the Harlem Bulldogs will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Heritage didn't have too much trouble with Adairsville as they won 31-17.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Harlem against Cross Creek two weeks ago as the squad secured a 40-6 win. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Razorbacks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Heritage better keep an eye on Mercer Barton. He was instrumental in Harlem's win, throwing for 51 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 30 yards.

Harlem was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cross Creek only rushed for 123.

Harlem didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as JoVaun Napier, Joseph Clark, Jax Stadler, and Noah Cadle picked up one apiece.

Harlem's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Heritage has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 158.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Harlem struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 179.1 rushing yards.
