Deep Creek never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Oscar Smith on Thursday. They blew past the Tigers 16-1. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Larah Fray made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Fray was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Hailey Bishop was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
