The Canterbury Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight defeat. They were the victim of a tough 60-35 defeat at the hands of Admiral Farragut. Canterbury found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post 11 fewer assists than your opponent.

When it comes to explaining why Canterbury lost, one person who can't be blamed is Lou Donnelly. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points along with four steals. Donnelly continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Calhoun, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.

Admiral Farragut's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Danielius Gelumbauskas, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kai Trunca, who scored 11 points along with three steals and three blocks.

Canterbury will face off against the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
