Soccer Recap: Granite Bay Comes Up Short

Granite Bay lost against Rocklin back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Granite Bay Grizzlies fell just short of the Rocklin Thunder by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Thunder are ranked 141st).

Granite Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-2. As for Rocklin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-2.

Granite Bay will head out to face off against Whitney at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rocklin, they will welcome Davis Sr. at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
