Football Recap: Clinton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Clinton Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 39-0 takedown of Christian Collegiate Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 38-15 to the Amite School Center Rebels on Friday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Clinton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Amite School Center, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Clinton Christian Academy will square off against Park Place Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Crusaders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Amite School Center, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Christian Home Educators Fellowship at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
