Baseball Recap: Snyder Tigers vs. Estacado Matadors
After flying high against Big Spring on Tuesday, Snyder came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Estacado Matadors on Thursday, falling 13-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 15th.
Callen Green was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs.
Snyder has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Estacado, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-14-1.
