Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fletcher). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Stanton Blue Devils 72-33. While the Senators didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Fletcher's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but DJ Rivera led the charge by going 6 of 12 en route to 13 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Burghardt, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.
Rivera wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Fletcher was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.
