Baseball Recap: Roscommon Bucks vs. Buckley Bears

After flying high against Heston Academy on Tuesday, Roscommon came back down to earth. The Bucks fell 5-1 to the Buckley Bears on Thursday. The Bucks were not able to make up for their loss to the Bears from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Mason Hodnett put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Hodnett was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times he's played.
