Baseball Recap: Lathrop Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Lathrop's offense. They came up short against the Lafayette County Huskers on Monday, falling 10-0. The Mules have struggled against the Huskers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Lathrop's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Lafayette County, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

When Lathrop and Lafayette County next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Mules will challenge Northland Christian and their three-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lafayette County will try to stop Knob Noster's three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
