Soccer Recap: Lake Howell Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Howell). They skirted past the Jones Fightin' Tigers 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Silverhawks as it spelled an end to their 15-game losing streak.

They hit Jones with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alejandro Pinto, Evan Collada, and Jacob Vath.

Lake Howell's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-15. As for Jones, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Howell will take on Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jones, they will square off against Apopka at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
