Soccer Recap: Eastern Alamance Takes a Loss + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Eastern Alamance was not quite Williams's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Eastern Alamance can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 370th, while Williams are ranked 105th).

Eastern Alamance is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14-2. As for Williams, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4-3.

Coming up, Eastern Alamance will venture away from home to square off against Graham at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern Alamance will be up against Graham's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.7 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Williams, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Western Alamance at 6:30 p.m. Williams will need to watch out since Western Alamance have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
