If Eleanor Roosevelt wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Flowers, they should've done a better job of containing Tyrell Bowles. The Flowers Jaguars enjoyed a cozy 66-48 victory over the Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders on Friday thanks to Bowles, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Flowers' win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Eleanor Roosevelt, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jaguars challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flowers is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.9 points per game this season. As for Eleanor Roosevelt, they will take on Suitland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Suitland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Eleanor Roosevelt likes a good challenge.
