Colerain (Cincinnati) at La Salle (Cincinnati)

Why it's big:
It's another clash of high school football titans in the Queen City, as Division I's top-ranked Colerain travels just a few miles south to battle Division II's top-ranked La Salle. This series was on hiatus for 10 years before La Salle's 40-21 win over the Cardinals in the season opener last year. That helped propel the Lancers to a 14-1 record that ended with their first state championship.

This year, La Salle is led by first-year head coach Jim Hilvert. The Lancers (2-0) have wins over Indiana opponents Carmel (35-28) and East Central (43-20).

Colerain (2-0) beat Warren Central (Indianapolis) in its opener, then edged state-ranked St. Xavier in overtime last week, 13-10.

Names to watch: La Salle's Jeremy Larkin took over the rushing lead in the Greater Catholic League South after totaling 253 yards and four touchdowns against East Central. It was the Cincinnati-bound running back's eighth game with at least 200 rushing yards in the last two years.

Senior quarterback Deshaunte Jones is the No. 1 threat in Colerain's powerful rushing attack. The three-star prospect has eclipsed 100 rushing yards eight times in the Cardinals' last 13 games.
