Basketball Recap: Upper Bucks Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Upper Bucks Christian came into Thursday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down the Lehigh Christian Academy Mustangs 49-34 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-48 back in December of 2025.

Despite the loss, Lehigh Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Justyn Saunders dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Upper Bucks Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Lehigh Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Upper Bucks Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Quakertown Christian at 7:30 p.m. on February 2. As for Lehigh Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Salem Christian at 7:30 p.m. The Mustangs will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 68.89 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
