Basketball Recap: Sam Rayburn Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sam Rayburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trenton Tigers. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 59-51.

Sam Rayburn's loss dropped their record down to 6-23. As for Trenton, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-17.

Sam Rayburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trenton, they will head out on the road to face off against Wolfe City at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
