Basketball Recap: Altamont Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Altamont can now relate to. They fell 47-36 to the Manila Mustangs on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 52-39 defeat two weeks ago.

Manila got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Wyatt Muir out in front who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ben Lail, who scored 12 points.

Altamont's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Manila, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-14 record this season.

Altamont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manila, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-63 win against Wendover on the 1st.
