Volleyball Recap: Syracuse Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Owyhee

Syracuse is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Owyhee. The Titans won by a set and slipped past the Storm 3-2.

Presley Worthington was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and two aces.

Worthington wasn't the only good server: Syracuse was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. The Titans are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Syracuse's record is now 6-4. As for Owyhee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coincidentally, Syracuse and Owyhee will both be playing Bountiful the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Redhawks at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Storm will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
