Baseball Recap: Snake River Comes Up Short

Snake River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Wood River Wolverines, falling 9-3.

Snake River saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coy Fisher, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Kale Christensen also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Snake River's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Wood River, their record is now 6-4.

Coming up, Snake River will take on Buhl in a tournament on Saturday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Wood River, they will be taking part in a tournament against Bear Lake at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
