There's no place like home for Faith Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the First Academy Lions with a sharp 62-40 win on Friday. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Faith Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Riley Anderson, who posted 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Anderson has scored at least a third of the Eagles' points. Another player making a difference was Hagen Williams, who scored 17 points.

Defeat or not, First Academy got some senior leadership from Rylan Peacock and Logan James. Peacock dropped a double-double with 17 points and 14 boards, while James earned ten points and seven rebounds. Those 14 boards set a new season-high mark for Peacock.

Faith Christian Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for First Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
