Softball Recap: Rosemead Comes Up Short

Rosemead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mountain View Vikings. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Rosemead's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Rosemead and Mountain View will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Panthers see the field they'll take on Arroyo at 3:15 p.m. on the 15th. As for Mountain View, their break will end when they face Edgewood at 3:30 p.m. on the 13th.
