Baseball Game Preview: Crane Cranes vs. Stanton Buffaloes

The Crane Cranes will head out to square off against the Stanton Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Crane and four for Stanton.

Crane came into this matchup off a tough eight-run loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Compass Academy by a score of 9-7 on Monday.

Compass Academy hit Stanton with a four-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Buffaloes came up short against the Cougars, falling 16-2.

Stanton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Henderson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Crane, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Crane skirted past Stanton 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Cranes repeat their success, or do the Buffaloes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
