Stratton waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Burlington Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stratton took Burlington into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-13, 25-16, 20-25, 15-13.

Sophie Isenbart paced Stratton's offense, picking up 23 kills. Isenbart got some help from Camory Wedel and her 25 assists. Wedel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Stratton's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Burlington, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-7.

Stratton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Prairie on the 24th. As for Burlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Akron on the 25th.
