Volleyball Recap: Ephrata Takes a Loss

The Ephrata Mountaineers came up short against the Manheim Township Blue Streaks on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as four sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 26-24, 26-28, 27-25, 27-25.

Despite the loss, Ephrata saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Prabmehar Kullar had six digs and two aces.

Ephrata's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Manheim Township, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ephrata will venture away from home to square off against Cedar Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manheim Township, they will challenge Daniel Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
