Basketball Recap: Paden City Find Success

While Paden City has struggled at home with six straight losses, that wasn't the case on Tuesday thanks to Ashton Wade. The Paden City Wildcats snuck past the Heritage Christian Patriots with a 33-28 win thanks in part to Wade, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Paden City's points.

Paden City's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Heritage Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Paden City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-45 win against Hundred on the 6th. As for Heritage Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Parkersburg Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 28th.
