After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alhambra, Concord was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Ygnacio Valley Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bears have posted against the Wolves since September 20, 2022.

Concord is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-10 record this season. As for Ygnacio Valley, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Concord and Ygnacio Valley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Bears (ranked 1230th) will meet Miramonte (ranked 434th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ygnacio Valley will challenge Clayton Valley Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (1377 vs. 539).
