 Bishop Eustace Prep and Cherokee are an even 4-4 against one another  since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders will head out on the road to  face off against  the Cherokee Chiefs at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Bishop Eustace Prep is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 On Wednesday, Bishop Eustace Prep came up short against Audubon  and fell  4-1.
 Bishop Eustace Prep got a good showing from  Lucas Edwards, who   struck out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (and only one walk).
 On the hitting side, Bishop Eustace Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Dante Bell, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Cherokee faced Rancocas Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Cherokee put the hurt on Rancocas Valley with a sharp  12-5 win. The  victory was some much needed relief for Cherokee as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Bishop Eustace Prep's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-4. As for Cherokee, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
 Bishop Eustace Prep came up short against Cherokee in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023, falling  6-2. Can Bishop Eustace Prep avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
