Decatur came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Monahans Loboes by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Decatur not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Monahans to exactly 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20.

Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Monahans, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8-1.
