Basketball Game Preview: Viewmont Vikings vs. Bonneville Lakers

Viewmont is 8-2 against Bonneville since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Viewmont Vikings will host the Bonneville Lakers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Viewmont came up short against Clearfield and fell 61-54.

Despite the defeat, Viewmont got top-tier performance from Drezdon Jensen, who posted 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. The match was Jensen's 12th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Lloyd Williamson, who put up five points and five steals.

Meanwhile, Bonneville was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 55-54 to Northridge. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Viewmont's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for Bonneville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
