Diboll has gone 7-2 against Pollok Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lumberjacks will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Diboll's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Pollok Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Diboll is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 19 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Huntington on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pollok Central). They blew past Newton 13-2 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Pollok Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-17-1. As for Diboll, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7-1.

Diboll was able to grind out a solid win over Pollok Central in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 4-1. Will the Lumberjacks repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
