League recap: Minot/Dakota Memorial tops Fargo Davies to extend winning streak

Minot/Dakota Memorial extended the longest winning streak in AAA West this week by beating Fargo Davies, 21-12. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Magicians.

Mandan suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 18-0 loss to Mandan. The Braves had been ranked 19th, but fell to 27 following the defeat.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Minot/Dakota Memorial and Century. The Magicians comes into the matchup ranked fourth in the state, while the Patriots ranks sixth.

Dickinson/Hope Christian was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in the league. The Midgets beat the Midgets 49-6 earlier in the week.
