Hayden Sharps, Montpelier's leader in blocks on the season, led the team again on Friday. Sharps made a major impact, putting up 12 points and six boards with a field goal percentage of 86%. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 45.6% shooting accuracy per game. The last time his shooting accuracy was this high was back in November of 2024.

Looking ahead, Sharps and Montpelier will take on Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Montpelier has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since December of 2014, but a win here would be a good start.
