Baseball Recap: Borger Comes Up Short

Borger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Dumas Demons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-9 back in March.

Borger saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carlos Cardenas, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Borger's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Dumas, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Borger will face off against rival Hereford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dumas is set to take on their familiar foe Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
