Newman International Academy hasn't had much luck against UME Preparatory Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zoe Carrizales, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Jenevive Fleming was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

UME Preparatory Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Newman International Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
