Baseball Recap: Liberal Gets the Win

Liberal came out on top against Cimarron on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Redskins took their game against the Bluejays 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redskins.

The team relied heavily on Austin Dodge, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Alexander Schwindt was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Liberal hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cimarron struck out eight times.

Liberal's record now sits at 6-8. As for Cimarron, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-2.

Liberal will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bluejays: the pair will be back at it again later today.
