Soccer Recap: Lower Richland Comes Up Short on the Road Against Darlington

Lower Richland kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Darlington Falcons. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Diamond Hornets couldn't quite close it out.

The victory made it two in a row for Darlington and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Lower Richland will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lewisville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season. As for Darlington, they will take on Lakewood at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lakewood also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 2.5 goals per game.
