Soccer Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

After flying high against Emery last Friday, Delta came back down to earth. The Rabbits fell just short of the Richfield Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Delta couldn't quite close it out.

Delta has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Richfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Delta is set to challenge their familiar foe Carbon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Richfield will square off against rival Manti at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
