Softball Recap: Montour Comes Up Short

Montour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the West Allegheny Indians, falling 12-2. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Danielle Terpack made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Montour's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for West Allegheny, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Montour will square off against rival South Fayette at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Allegheny is set to challenge their familiar foe Upper St. Clair at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
