Basketball Recap: Alcester-Hudson Comes Up Short

Alcester-Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Akron-Westfield Westerners. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cubs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-31 back in December of 2024.

Alcester-Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Akron-Westfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

Alcester-Hudson has already played their next matchup (against Parker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Akron-Westfield has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against George-Little Rock.
