The Memorial Mustangs will face off against the Clear Brook Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Memorial got a great performance from Addie Young as she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. That's the most strikeouts Young has posted since back in February of 2024.

At the plate, Memorial let Riley Cannizaro and Brooke Kearns run wild. Cannizaro went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Kearns scored three runs while going 3-for-4. What's more, Kearns posted three hits, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Beckcom, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Memorial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Clear Brook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 victory over Episcopal on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.
