St. Joseph waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Stamford Black Knights a 12-0 shutout. The Cadets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Katie Dzialo made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, Kyla Bedell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one triple. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. MacKenzie Caouette was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

St. Joseph was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.
