Danville had won five straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 15-2 to make it six. They came out on top against the Southern Columbia Area Tigers by a score of 4-1. The Ironmen haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Wyatt Shultz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lincoln Diehl, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

As for Southern Columbia Area, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4. The contest marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

On Southern Columbia Area's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Guy Longenberger, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
