Baseball Recap: Timberland Comes Up Short

Timberland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the St. John's Islanders.

Timberland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Sovilla, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Timberland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for St. John's, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Timberland will head out on the road to face off against Academic Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. John's, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Charleston Math & Science at 6:00 p.m.
