Recap: KIPP Tulsa University Prep Bulldogs vs. Idabel Warriors

The KIPP Tulsa University Prep Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by Idabel at home and fell 88-41. KIPP Tulsa University Prep was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-22.

Leading Idabel to victory were John paul Sumo and Cordavious Hankins. Sumo scored 18 points, while Hankins scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hankins has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Baker Hoskins, who scored 11 points.

KIPP Tulsa University Prep has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season. As for Idabel, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. KIPP Tulsa University Prep will take on Hugo at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Idabel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingston at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Kingston knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Idabel likes a good challenge.
