After a string of six wins, Shelbyville's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 9-2 to the Garrison Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Dragons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Gavin McDonald made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Shelbyville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for Garrison, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-4.
